How much should I tip?
It depends on the country and service. In the US, 15–20% at restaurants is common; in many other countries service is included or tips are smaller. Check local custom.
Should I tip on the amount before or after tax?
Either is common. Enter the pre-tax amount if you prefer to tip on the food and drinks only.
What does rounding up do?
It rounds each person's share up to a whole amount and adds the difference to the tip, so nobody needs coins.
