Frequently asked questions
Which PDFs shrink the most?
Scans and PDFs full of photos. Text-only PDFs are usually small already, so there's little to gain.
Will the text stay sharp?
Yes. Only images are re-compressed. Text and vector graphics are untouched.
What if it can't reach my target size?
You get the smallest version we could make and a note. For scans and very image-heavy files, choose Strong compression, which rebuilds the whole file.
